Would be a hell of a hire if Frank Martin can make him an assistant on the team next season.
Why would Frank want to do that?

Didn't UM institutionally learn its lesson about hiring a bombastic men's hoop assistant?

Yeah, that's a definite no from me too.

I'm baffled by the thought of that as well.

I guess I missed this whole ordeal https://patch.com/rhode-island/northsmi ... -car-crash

But anyways, Jared Grasso is a great coach and recruiter with ties to New England and NYC.

The hit and run was the least of Mr. Grasso's worries.

What else was going on there? Looks like the charges were dropped but he still resigned.

Cocaine and some alone time with female undergrads is what I have been hearing and reading.

Okay so I clearly have not been following the Grasso situation! I would not want him on the bench. Changed my mind.

UMass Lowell is a 4/4.5 point underdog at Georgia Tech today.

Gapare has started both games for GT and has a combined 2 points.

DHS is way better than Gapare - not even close. Of all the players that have left - Sean East is the one that surprises me the most as far as how well he has done. I believe he had some off court issues and thats why he went the JUCO route but he is having a great start to the season and had a solid year last year.

RJ has yet to play this year - he tweeted before the game yesterday that he was cleared to play yet he didn't get in the game?

What off court issues did Sean East have? Doesn't surprise me at all he's doing well, you could see his talent when he was here. Kid can play

I agree that Hankins-Sanford is a much better player than Gapare. Gapare has the height and a little more athleticism, but Hankins-Sanford is truly a basketball player with skills and knows how to use his athleticism. I was glad to see Gapare go because he was not that impressive outside of a couple of spectacular plays last year and watching him play against UMass Lowell tonight does nothing to change my mind. Hankins-Sanford could be a special player we are talking about 20 years from now if stays here as he has the talent to average 20 per game a night. Feel lucky we were able to swap out DHS for Gapare so let’s hope a NIL deal doesn’t come calling for DHS!
