^ Well, they won a bowl game for 1, finished 7-6 and return 60% of their team & this year's game @ NMSU! I'd say a 10 point spread on da road aint bad!

It means we are 10 points worse than last year vs the same team. They beat us by 10 and were favored by 3. With the 3 points for home team, I guess being in the road it is really a 7 point spread and last year was essentially 6 points.

I actually think we find a way to win this first one. Week zero is so unpredictable. I think they pull out a slim victory. I think Vegas is underestimating us.

I would love to agree with you.........my heart is for the Zoo but until I see otherwise my "brain" says take anybody else. I'm sorry but the last 4 years have been a horror show and the fact that Casula is back calling plays gets me thinking "Is this Max Page or Coach Numbnuts aka "HC" Bell sabotaging the program?" The NMSU game last year at home absolutely tore my heart out. Maybe I'm nuts but when I rewatch the BYU win at BYU on ESPN it seems a thousand years ago. I look at Whipple and wonder what could have been. He's old now but he's been OC at some major P5 schools since.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Josh Wallace just entered the portal. I know he was important last year but did we add enough quality DBs to cause him to bail?
