Not to be Negative Nancy, but wasn't this something people used as an excuse as to why RJ entered the portal? Didn't have that established recruiting connection with Frank, probably should have been at a higher level school and then jumped at the first opportunity he got when he proved he could ball?

Yes that applies to Jaylen Curry, but Hankins-Sanford was recruited by Frank to South Carolina so it doesn't apply to him.

He went to the same high school as some one Frank already recruited he tweeted about relationships mattering. Can read between the lines and can put it 2 and 2 together that this isn’t something that started this spring

As of 1:30 PM today we've had only FIFTY Donors to this Program! Folks, you just can't bitch about things and turn a deaf ear to support the program. I know between here and twitter I've heard a LOT more than 50 people bitching about the Program! FIVE BUCKS . . . Come On!

I read that hoops received 87 donations for UMass Gives, finishing 7th among our sports. Can 7th be correct? Does anyone know how many donors the previous two years?

Assuming Hankins Sanford signs, that's it for scholarships, right? That roster looks to be about middle of the pack to me.

The biggest X factor is buy-in and Frank's ability to get everyone on the same page giving consistent effort. I take solace in knowing Frank has a track record of accomplishing that.

I think measuring the number of donors for one weekend is weird. I donate to the gridiron club when I renew my ST. Knowing how many and the total amounts for each program over a year would be something I am interested in knowing, though.

For the first time I am not donating but giving my money to the Collective. Why should we pay for a free country club membership for Martin and Bamford. Screw that, I want my money to go to the players directly and better their young lives and hopefully the programs.

My thoughts exactly. I was making a monthly court club contribution and am no longer doing that. Eventually I'll redirect some of that monthly donation to the collectives (football as well).

Keeping money "on your pocket" doesn't sound very safe. Better to give it to the Collective.
