Hoping we get things set up and scholarships filled this weekend. This would be nice...

C Leveque Majok Mayhugh
PF Cohen Hankins-Sanford G Thompson
SF Cross Davis Jr. Marcus
SG Diggins Ndjigue Worthy Cronin
PG Curry K Thompson Cantinera

If Curry came here, I'd expect Keon would move on and we'd still have one slot to fill and it would likely go to a transfer who has played a couple years and had meaningful minutes.
I don’t think Keon is moving on. Frank is always going to play a ton of guys.

Nothing surprises me in this awful moment in college hoops, but Keon Thompson seems full on Minuteman. I like him pairing up with Davis. His leaving would be very shocking and disappointing. Putting aside some of the dumb noise I read here about his game, he played pretty damn well as a freshman last season, especially down the stretch. He fits in really well with Frank’s style and he is tough as nails. Plus, I get the sense think Ricky H sees that in him, too.

I agree with both. Keon is a tough kid and as we've heard from Frank, he works hard. I expect he'll improve, and thought he was pretty solid being thrown into that role as a freshman. I like him here

Haven’t figured out the PG yet
I thought his name was Daniel Hankins and he played at Samford. Thought maybe he committed to SC and left when Frank did and went to Samford. Couldn't find any stats anywhere. Now I know why! Reading is hard! Good size, would be a great addition.

Late in the cycle just like RJ. I'm in.
Not to be Negative Nancy, but wasn't this something people used as an excuse as to why RJ entered the portal? Didn't have that established recruiting connection with Frank, probably should have been at a higher level school and then jumped at the first opportunity he got when he proved he could ball?

Hankins-Sanford is a solid kid at 6-8, 233. Definitely added more size this year to the front court if this is true.

Yes that applies to Jaylen Curry, but Hankins-Sanford was recruited by Frank to South Carolina so it doesn't apply to him.

52 donors as of 3:00PM EST. Here's the donation link: https://umass.scalefunder.com/gday/givi ... dept=70818

If you're on this board, and you want UMass to succeed in hoops, put some money in the pot. It looks like you have until Midnight.

I'd add -- even with established relationships, you're not going to keep every guy, every year. It's a genuine way of program-building, though, and as long as there's a core returning every year, the program should be able to withstand defections and still be successful.

As a former player I was fortunate to play for a great coach in Jack Leaman and with great team players of which two went on to play in the NBA and Rick Ptino went on to be a legendary coach and another Mike Flanagan went on to win a World Series and a Cy Young Award for the Baltimore Orioles. We have guys who played hard and played together and 50 years later are still in contact and talk regularly.
I hope everyone considers giving back to UMass and any amount of a donations helps continue a great tradition of graduating hard working student athletes. Being a State University we get taken for granted. If you played at UMass it’s time to step up and put down a few bucks and support a University that we all should be proud of. We can all make it a better place and it only takes a few minutes. Go UMass! UMass gave us all a nice start in life.

For the first time I am not donating but giving my money to the Collective. Why should we pay for a free country club membership for Martin and Bamford. Screw that, I want my money to go to the players directly and better their young lives and hopefully the programs.

Can see your point but do Like so many others and give to both funds because any little bit helps in some way.
