His biggest value is scoring with the ball in his hands, and he does it while almost never turning the ball over. Compared to all players in the A10, his usage rate is the 2nd highest, and his turnover rate is the 2nd lowest among qualifying players... that combination of usage and turnover rate is truly astounding.
How much of the $20 million just donated to Isenberg would it take to get Cohen?

Just saw that 2 of Iona's best players entered the portal. They could both help us.

everyone keeps bringing up names from schools in lesser conferences. I think we need to think bigger so find two Matt Crosses out there.. one Big and one Pt Guard and maybe a third if we have room. I am assuming Weeks and Woodley wont be back, but have no info on either,.

Steve anyone and everyone should be considered if the are an improvement to the roster. In general terms, most guys leaving P5 schools are doing so because they can't cut it (more or less). It doesn't meant they can't help us but I have more skepticism of a player moving down than a player moving up.

P5 schools take kids who succeeded in conferences like the A10 all the time, not sure why we can't pick from lower ones as well. I'm not suggesting we do that 100% of the time, but it can and should work.

I think one thing we have learned about Frank is he definitely shoots for higher grade talent - he's not afraid to compete with P5 schools for recruits

If recruiting wasn't a Full-time job before (It was), it is NOW and completely different! Now you recruit for the coming year specifically and Not worry about the years after due to the transfer portal! This will be a challenge for "old school" coaches like Frank who still believe in developing talent in a family type atmosphere. Here is the problem, your taking chances on kids with some issues and hoping your team has the right chemistry!

There has been a few times where teams have gotten good guys from D2. I even think our friend Pat Kelsey took his team to the dance this year with D2 players

^ 2 years ago we got Greg Jones from Southern CT, a DII school although he had played at JMU before then. He wasn't bad but not starter quality.
Here's a maybe under the radar guy we should look at. Demarcus Sharp from Northwestern State in a weak Southland Conference. He's listed as a "Guard" but had 5 assists and 5 boards per game . Oh, and he can score (19.5). He doesn't take many 3's, but hit them at 55% last year.

2 things.

1. Temple's top 6 players have entered the portal. Any of them could help us.
2. Robert Davis is a 3rd team all-american, but I have no idea what organization sponsored this.

This transfer portal is out of control! Just a vent session here. But misery loves company … so easy for a team to lose the whole roster in a blink of an eye. Bring back the sit out Year!
