Good find. From that picture, it looks like at some point the Cage was outfitted with open deck bleachers. I see a Clark banner up there. Did we ever play basketball in the same league as Clark University? I wonder what the Agawam banner is all about.

18-6 lifetime against Clark. Last game was a couple of weeks after I was born (no, there were no ladders to retrieve the ball from the peach basket)

The wooden bleachers were in place until the renovation in 1985. After basketball ended, the court and the wooden bleachers were removed and the existing dirt floor welcomed ground balls.
