I don’t care who you’re playing against, only giving up 3 points deserves some praise.

More than a full-house at the Bill. What’s capacity at McGuirk?

They have not changed it in decades, even when they added the Skybox and other slight changes, nor any consideration for the Hunt Hospitality Suite. They do require you have a game ticket so those on the patio will have their seats empty or general admission squatters move into their seats.

^ It’s been a while since I attended a football game at UMass. The last time was a Thanksgiving weekend game. It had snowed the day before the game, but nobody bothered to clear the snow from the stands. Not a good fan experience. We were not happy.
I haven’t been back since. That said, I do plan to get to a game or two this season.

I'd say 200 in t suite and patio.
Some of us do both t suite/patio and t stands
(not at the same time). I did 35% stands & halftime.
Students outside were good. However, about half left the stands after Q1.

Great to here and would recommend an October game. It will be cold for the Army game. Don't like Buffalo and they are down this year and think we have a short. Liberty is strong and feel that being competitive for a while will be a win. But as you know, there is a reason they play the games. Smoking is an issue as there is no re-entry and they don't allow it in the stadium. Bring a seat cushion or bet yet a inexpensive stadium seat with back support. You see people at the game. Shaked Sammy's had and told him sorry to see him go on field level. Welcome DDK back and spoke to Troy Verde, his wife and daughter all in the Hunt Hospitality Suite.LS71 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 1:19 pm ^ It’s been a while since I attended a football game at UMass. Looking forward to basketball season as well as think both will make some noise.

Why exactly is it “moronic.” Show your work.ZooMass84 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 8:28 pmMoronic question like usualJoleonLescottsHair wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 8:04 pm How was attendance for the first home game of the season?
He is still butthurt cuz you called him out for his "zoomass" comment when you quickly pointed out that is his handle too....
I will follow up the the "moronic post" question by noting how many posts discussed the numbers that players are wearing on their uniforms.... I suppose zoomass thinks that was a worthy conversation to have in this game thread?

Speaking of the Army game, hey have an absolute Tank for a running back (Tyrell Robinson). Currently he is averaging over 10yds PER CARRY.
Reminiscent of Earl Campbell - he just runs over people.
Re: 2022 Game 3: vs Stony Brook
It was a step in the right direction overall but I didn't gain any more confidence in the offense. They averaged 4.3 ypp against a weak team and only put up 13 points. On the other hand, the defense is improving. It's nice to watch a game and not watch the other team run up the middle for 10 yards before even being touch.

It was really nice to be back to almost the exact spot we used to have for tailgating. It is a much improved situation, and I'm hearing the Lot 11 setup is much better now too.
A couple small tweaks (bathrooms, trash barrels, band/team march...) are needed but overall it was great.

IV, is there anywhere you can park if you don't have a parking pass?InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 9:16 am It was really nice to be back to almost the exact spot we used to have for tailgating. It is a much improved situation, and I'm hearing the Lot 11 setup is much better now too.

Yes, you can buy single game parking from the box office ahead of time at a discounted price, or day-of in cash ($20). I think those lots are by the softball field (Lot 33, for example). I think you can park for free over by the Mullins Center as well, but I'm not 100% sure about that this year.69MG wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 11:24 amIV, is there anywhere you can park if you don't have a parking pass?InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 9:16 am It was really nice to be back to almost the exact spot we used to have for tailgating. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, football games will most likely be a day of the game decision and I don't really want to spend $20 for a parking pass.
