Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond
Matt coming back makes it all but certain that Lindberg is going Pro. Matt doesn't return if Lindberg is staying.

It isn't a rumor... UMass Hockey tweeted it. I assume there is an official release on the website as well.

The official UMass accounts usually link to a release that's posted at UMassAthletics.com, so you can usually find the same info there as a rule of thumb.
Also, I don't believe you need a Twitter account to see things on Twitter. Give it a try: https://twitter.com/UMassHockey/status/ ... 83586?s=20

According to today's Gazette Filip Lindberg is turning professional. Can't blame him, he's done almost everything at UMass.

^ The news behind the news is that he is no longer Minn. property and can make a deal with any team. After last year's performance there will be a few teams trying to land him which ought to lead to a bigger contract. Now we know for sure why Matt is coming back.

From the June 5th Gazette, Carvel's contract has been extended through April 10, 2026.
In addition two more transfers have been added. Slava Demin, a 6'3" defense man. He played 3 seasons for Denver. The other is a forward, Cam Donaldson from. Cam played 2 seasons at Cornell (the Ives didn't play last year).

Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond
There has not been an official announcement for this recruit.......I don't believe.
Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond
^ Correct.
And now Lucas Mercuri is announced. That makes six that are (to quote MikeUMA) "officially official."
