And yet, you can’t buy an official Umass Makar hockey jersey thru the Umass store

Laser from Makar...4th point of the night.

Announcers speculating on the contract he'll get after his current deal expires at the end of the season...whatever it is, he's worth every penny. 8)

Makar has a great chance to win a cup this season. On a side note....Leafs blowing another 1st round....

That seals the deal. I am no longer a Leafs fan. I’ve been a fan since 1917 and a season ticket holder since 1967. I officially will not be renewing my plan next season nor will I watch on tv ever again. I am going to the Atlanta Thrashers where they actually know how to run a hockey team

psht - know your hockey jokes more :P

They were founded in 1917 and last won a cup in 1967. Joke about how they always blow it and have been a complete joke of a team for decades.

Well there’s a good reason why they’re named the “Leafs”. Thats because they fall off at the end of the season!

Well, Cale didn't win the Norris. He came in 2nd in the voting, which is unfortunate but likely due to the injury bug he got hit with this season.

With that said, Cale was voted 1st Team "All-Star"... that's pretty damn good for a 2nd year player.

ESPN has recently released a NHL Top 100 List, and Cale Makar is ranked 5th. Not bad for a 22 year old.
