I agree - the idea of a ‘list’ is pretty sickening.
With 2 assistant coaches from Illinois leaving to go to Kentucky, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bergeron and Mitchell going there,

These lists are more to show what colleges he said no to then to show the ones he sad yes to, it's ego food. Gets the fan bases all lathered up so they shower him with praise and beg for likes and retweets.
If it's Illinois, it's great college town, I spent a lot of time in Champaign–Urbana. The Illini sports rule that area.
He is a good player. He'll have his pick of the litter. I thought a month ago he'd go to Louisville.
If he requires his future step-father is included as a package deal, that is just so emasculating for Bergeron and I feel for his future teammates and coaches if that happens.

I'm looking forward to the 2021/22 UM season and watching the players who want to be at UMass play.

Well the kids wouldn’t be “doing the list thing” if there weren’t adults who obsess over where teenagers want to play college sports. It’s kind of a chicken or the egg thing, IMO.
