Re: Support the Basketball Team
I donated but that’s an ugly sight..
Re: Support the Basketball Team
I also donated, out of loyalty to the program. I'll feel better about my donation when we hear about a new assistant coach (a GOOD assistant coach) and a couple of freshmen recruits. I don't want to see any more transfers unless they have 3 years left.
Re: Support the Basketball Team
i've been getting emails every three hours re fundraising
Re: Support the Basketball Team
I donated. So should the people with the loudest opinions. Be a part of helping.

Re: Support the Basketball Team
Me too. I don’t give a shit if cheerleading has more donors. These things tend to be very targeted and my guess is parents and friends are being enlisted by some groups more than others, especially sports and activities that don’t have as much of a baseline budget.

Thanks for the update. Someone of us cannot donate due to being on a government aided fixed income.KahunaK wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:55 pm 6:54 update

Re: Support the Basketball Team
So if you are on fixed income you cannot make charitable contributions? Hmm, fascinating.
Re: Support the Basketball Team
Preecher- I just donated $10 in your honor. There are different ways to support UMASS- donations are just one way. GO UMASS!PreecherJenkins wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 6:38 pmThanks for the update. Re: Support the Basketball Team
How will my money help the basketball team? I would love to know, because I don't believe it will change a thing.
Also I didn't go to UMass when education was dirt cheap, UMass has already gotten plenty from me.

I get that. But there is nothing in law that prevents you from giving? Sounded like there was some weird resctriction.PreecherJenkins wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 7:59 pmcorrect, unf, most of my income goes to my ex-wife for alimony and child support. the rest I have left barely covers my bills!JoleonLescottsHair wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 7:47 pm So if you are on fixed income you cannot make charitable contributions?
