Re: Julius Erving
We are going out the last week in June staying out at MGM Mon the 25th thru Friday the 29th and then moving to the Mirage from the 29to the 31st then flying back to NC on July 1st.
I was kidding with my son that he probably will be cleaning rooms with the impending strike and he said that if the strike happens he would prefer to be a baggage handler.

Re: Julius Erving
Anyone know if there is a fund raiser to build a Dr. J statue and what the status is?
Re: Julius Erving
Congratulations to your daughter. Accomplishing that on her own dime while working was no easy chore, I'm sure. Speaking of chores, did you get to mow any lawns while you were back in the Bekshires?Berkman wrote: Thu May 24, 2018 1:29 pm My son told him that he was there in the 11th for his sisters graduation with her masters degree in Accounting from Isenberg.

No. We are staying at a furnished apartment in an apartment complex. However we will leave on Wed morning and get back to Mooresville, NC on Thursday afternoon so I will probably cut my daughters grass on Friday and check out our garden.

No but we had some last night. Lowe's Foods in Mooresville has pretty decent kielbasa. Makes for a fast supper with macaroni salad.

Had some light discussion with Ryan back in May about it. Hoping for some movement entering the new year.

I'll take a stab. Was it Ray Wilson? I was a senior when Dr. J was a freshman and saw a lot of those games but I doubt anyone paid attention to who the coach was.

^ I got bingo, I think. Pete Broaca's name popped in. I couldn't remember how to spell it.

Good find old timer. I think he might have played with Jack at BU.
