Two kickers on the roster -- Caggiano, who has been here for 2 years and under-performed, and Cooper Garcia, who I believe is a JC transfer this year. Georgopoulos is listed only as a punter.
Bamford has erased McCutcheon

I know our Greek God punter can stroke 'em, at least that's what I gathered from Twitter. Is he the one that will be taking our kicks this year?
Georgopoulos is very likely the starter at punter from the jump this year. As far as placekicking, that will be a battle between Caggiano and new JC transfer Cooper Garcia.

I could definitely see the kicker that loses the FG/PAT battle as the one who handles kickoffs, but that will be one of the most important position battles in camp for sure. Garcia did very well in Cali JUCO as a kicker, while Caggiano has been with the program for several years.

You're also likely to see a freshman handling the LS duties on special teams this year, Evan Deckers out of Avon Old Farms.

UMass handed out three scholarships to specialists last cycle (Garcia, G2, Deckers), and two of them were directly out of HS/Prep. Have to think that all three will have a look at the inside track for their positions.

I was told on Friday that Season Tickets should go out this week. Can't wait to get down there for the 1st game!

Do we know what the ticket design is yet?

On a related note, I can already smell the grill & beer...

They will be purple and the department will tell you they are maroon.

Mine too. Lots of lanyards! Not sure why they think we need that many. Whatever, happy to get the tix and looking forward to the season.

I used this rationale once during a very frustrating BB season:
We can use them to hang ourselves if the team goes 2-11.
