Love to see the A-10 go 3 for 3 today.

Jesus URI is brutal to watch on offense. Bombs away from three. Barely snuck by a pretty mediocre Oklahoma team today.

Dan Hurely's URI team knocked off Oklahoma!! :o

Does this mean we we can't disparage or criticize Hurley any more? Maybe not. URI's been to the NCAA's twice in a row. It's been a while since we got in two years in a row, and it's not likely UMass will make an appearance any time soon. Lot of rebuilding to do. So, Hurley gets a pass?

Did you watch the game? His coaching is still atrocious.

He can recruit, and he can motivate, but he's still the only coach in the world that consistently had trouble against DK. And he's still a dick.

I agree, he still has his limitations as a coach. However, he can lay claim to being the best coach in the A-10, as in most successful. I think he'd be wise to stay at Rhody because I don't think he'll be all that successful at the next level. Then he could end up like Mike Davis.

edit: Pretty funny to see Trae Young get called for a nothing offensive foul after watching Holloway from UCLA last night practically pushing people to the ground before he finally got called in crunch time. Holloway was probably thinking, "I've been doing this all game. Why are you calling now?"

Since this seems to be the place where folks are talking about the tourney, watching the Loyola-Chicago vs. Miami game, Loyola has that Ben Richardson kid playing for him. I had forgotten all about him. Richardson was a kid I think we were in line to perhaps get until we took Dyson in his place (think that's kind of how it went down).

I believe one poster (forget who) in here compared him to Jimmer Fredette off of a highlight video. Richardson looks like he has had a pretty solid career, but has averaged around 6 points a game for his career playing in the MVC. Not quite Jimmer-like.

Anywho, exciting win for the Ramblers! I'll be rooting for Jimmer and the boys the rest of the way...

The A10 is 2-2 so far including the Bonnie’s win against UCLA, but they did not look good against Florida.

That said, we want Florida to to well, cuz we know who might consider that his “dream” job.

Do we really count that first win as a tournament win? For money purposes, yes - but even if it were UMass in the play-in game I don't know how quick I would be to say they went 1-1 if they lost in the round of 64.

^ I get what you’re saying, but the fact is, the win counts as an “official” tournament W.

URIne needs to win one more time to ensure at least a .500 record for a the A-10 in this year’s dance.

If Peyton Aldrich could have hit something like his 3pt average, Davidson would have beaten Ky.

Bonnies got bounced last night. Saw the first half. Florida Gators are not big, but were quicker than the Bonnies. Bonaventure had a hard time getting good looks especially on 3 point shots. When they did get open, it was only for a second as Florida defenders closed them out quickly taking Bonnie 3 point shooters out of there comfort zone. They were missing. Maybe the UCLA game plus travel took something out of the Bonnies?
