Hope he sticks, but don't see how that can happen unless he bulks up. It's not in his genes. Putney is destined to be a slim guy. I miss his play though: the jams, the high arcing 3 point shots, etc. Here's hoping he can make a ton of money in the Italian league.

Putney with 23 points and Davis with 12 points and 10 assists. Nice highlight reels for both at the link, including Trey stealing an outlet pass from Putney and hitting an immediate three.

Put and the Bayhawks took on Trey Davis and the Red Claws on Friday and Putney had a monster game 25 points (9 of 11 shooting) 7 rebounds, 5 blocks and 1 assist while Trey had 12 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds

On the year Put is averaging 24 minutes 15.7 points (shooting 54% from the field and 40.3% from 3) with 7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks

No doubt Put is a fun guy to watch. He sometimes makes freakishly athletic plays that I just can't believe. He and Maxie were so entertaining. And great for Trey Davis too. Love seeing the success of these guys

If Put is in the right place at the right time he could find himself up for a cup of coffee or 10 day NBA contract. Always liked him, hope he gets a chance even if it's just for a game or two to sit on the bench. II always respect guys who continue to follow their dreams.
