Coach McCall understands that process is the key and he understands that what makes him succeed is the people around him. He may fail but he he's not wrong.

are we getting to the point where the rest of the staff will be filled out?
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

I would guess we should start hearing who is staying/coming/going as far as staff this week and next. I heard a radio station he was on the other day in Chattanooga and they asked him if he was going to be bringing any of his current staff to Amherst and he indirectly said yes, something along the lines of he needs to bring people that know him and what he wants to accomplish.

Through my amazing Twitter investigative skills, plus what's been said in various articles and podcasts, I suspect there's a decent chance the following people will be on McCall's staff at UMass:
Peter Gash (AC at Chattanooga)
Lauren Mills (Dir Ops at Chattanooga)

And here are some other people to keep an eye on:
Brian Grossman (GA at Arizona State)
Jesse Bopp (AC at NMSU, former AC at Chattanooga)
Eddie Shannon (AC at Chattanooga)

Bopp seems like an obvious hire based on his ties to New England, right?

FWIW, Peter Gash has just started following several Northeast based AAU & high school programs as well as players from the New England area that wouldn't make sense for a Chattanooga coach to be recruiting, but would make a lot of sense for UMass.

^ Just some offseason curiosity here. But after Niles post above about NE AAU circuit, I looked up BABC roster/history. Growing up in the boston area and competing against this club as a kid I was well aware of their history. However, I didn't realize what a feeder it was for Umass in the mid/late 90's. I am sure that was a Cal/Bruiser pipeline, but I'm sure some of you on the board a bit more advanced than I in age can give me an explanation on why we have not gotten a recruit from this program in almost 15 years. 17 pro's, dozens of blue chip prospects and pro connections...it would be a shame to not start stealing some of these kids. Kids want to win, and want to be on TV, those are probably the two most prevalent reasons when picking schools, but given MM connection to BD in OKC and the UF connection, one would assume that we could get a few kids from this program. But what is the reasoning break in contact? relationship based?
