It's fun to have opinions but they're never true (I don't mean specifically you, ktabz, but everyone including me, especially me).

If DG is focused on self promotion to draw attention to his efforts to erase bias, that's by no means a bad thing. When you think of it, the LGBT community can be looked at as a "team" too, so if he's sincere about wanting to make a difference, then I actually think it's fine for him to put his personal goals ahead of the basketball team, UMass, or Seton Hall. If it was all about the individual over either "team", then that's not a good way to go about things but I don't see how any of us can know one way or another what his real motivations are.
Good luck to him. I hope he succeeds at whatever he tries to do, basketball or otherwise.

This is laughable beyond belief. You really have to a diseased state of mind to live this crap.xlgman wrote:If DG is focused on self promotion to draw attention to his efforts to erase bias, that's by no means a bad thing. What the hell is wrong with you?? Why are you so against gay people? What have they done to piss you off so much? Let people live their own lives without denigrating them simply because they aren't attracted to the opposite sex. If you have nothing nice to say about an individual person whom you don't even know, then I suggest keeping your opinions to yourself.Rudy wrote:This is laughable beyond belief. Just by using the phrase "diseased state of mind" you reveal so much about your outlook on life. All hail to your mighty moral authority!Rudy wrote:This is laughable beyond belief. If you took fail multiplied it by stupid and added idiot, you might get a post like this.
Its happened a few times. Give an unfavorable opinion about a ballplayer on fan site, and all the self-righteous retarded liberals start to psycho-analyze you based on... a post. So typical. So pathetic. So dumb. Please tell me about my religion, politics and life. I like to know what fascist PC mob thinks of me.
DG dumped you. He is another player on another team. No different than any URI or GW player. The only difference is the DG abandoned a university, a coach, fan base that supported him. But yet he cries about not being accepted. He is an ungrateful whiny prima donna. Guys like DG and liberals talks about just being treated the same, but really they pull this special treatment all the time. So treat him the same. Treat him like E.C. Matthews. Don't be a hypocrite and coward.
He walked away from his teammates and his super supportive coach. He has no sense of loyalty. He accomplished nothing here. Outside of throwing teammates under this bus in interviews, doing lots of brooding, and pretending he cared about team and winning, when all he really cared about is "showcasing his talents" for the NBA -- what did he do.
But people still gush and fawn over him. If you believe in equality then treat him like the delusional ungrateful idiot that he is. Stop making excuses for him.
Its embarrassing.

Re: KAEO: Derrick Gordon
DO NOT use the word retarded. It's incredibly demeaning to people with special needs. You're an embarrassment to this board. Sometimes I have hope that this country is moving forward on social issues...and then I see stuff like your posts and I lose all hope. Maybe DG is self-centered, but the fact that you bring up his sexuality as a part of it really gives insight into the kind of person you are. I strongly suggest you stop making ignorant posts. It's a real disgrace.Rudy wrote:ktabz16 wrote:people like rudy will always find someone to put down and demean. they have an inherent childish need to feel superior to someone else. his world feels fine as long as the lowest straight guy feels above the highest guy guy, as long as the lowest white guy feels superior to the highest black guy, as long as the lowest man feels superior to the highest woman. it's the lifeblood of bigotry. it's a laughable outlook because rudy will never be superior to tim cook, barack obama or andrea merkel.
