A 8/9 seed and then a matchup vs. Wichita St. would be ideal. Don't get me wrong-- and I know that team is very good but I think a good day from us and a bad day from them can bring us a W. Athletically we can compete. It's the Kansas', Michigans', Floridas who are bigger and stronger and beat us physically and that is when we are overmatched. Chaz vs. Van Sleet would be a good matchup.

My guy Patrick Stevens still has UMass as a 7. If he has them as a 7 in the morning, and it looks like he will from this, I'll be pretty confident:

And f'n Lunardi dropped them to a 9 seed! and moved OK State up to an 8!
He had the same thing yesterday except UMass was the 8 and OK St was the 9. Neither teamed played yesterday. Am I missing something???

PS I really don't want to see OK St. in the first round!

Patrick Stevens still has us as a 7, playing Stanford in Buffalo:

I honestly don't know why everyone is getting caught up in who any of these bracketologists have umass playing...you do realize they have no say right? I give them credit in the sense they will most likely be close to 100% in regards to who gets in, but as far as predicting who they will play, they are guessing. last week at this time they were predicting Umass to be a 6 seed playing 11 Ok. St...now umass is a 9 seed playing number 8 Ok. St? what exactly did Ok. St do to move up 5 seeds last week? I know it's fun to speculate on this stuff, but let's not put too much stock into these so called experts that they can predict the seed and the opponent.
