Theres always the same few who blame the refs everytime UMass gets beat.

And I bet those teams message boards look exactly like this. You and Chris20 can take the high road all you want but don't turn your noses up at people using this board to vent after a brutal performance by the team. This was the Richmond loss on steroids.. The team is trending in the wrong direction. This type of game is becoming more the norm than the exception the last 10.. Fordham was the exception.

A game where our opponent could do no wrong on the offensive boards. You are not going to get defensive stops that way.

UMass doesn't have the safety net of those teams. And it's not like this is a bump on the road, they have played like crap the past few weeks.

I think we'd all take 17-3, 2/3's of the way through the season but they way they have reached this point is alarming. We all got fooled by their hot start and drank the KoolAid. This team is a middle of the road A10 team at this point.

It would be one thing if we've been playing well. They haven't played well since Ohio (minus Fordham and that was more Fordham being bad), it's the culmination of playing poorly for over a month and this embarrassing lost.

How do you coach the fact they had 20 offensive rebounds!

What concerns me is St. Louis is destroying Richmond right now and VCU is taking care of business against Fordham. They are peeking while we are ebbing.

Cady wasn't himself. Trey was on the only one who came to play.

They have won most of their games over the last 6 weeks, but except for the Fordham game and parts of Elon, their overall performance has been mediocre. They will not beat any good teams in the A10 if they continue to play this way and could finish 10-6 or 9-7 in the conference. That would be a HUGE bummer.

It's not about the high road or low road. It's about having a clue about the ebbs and flows of the season. Get one.

I absolutely can't see UMass beating SLU. SLU's defense is much too strong for UMass' offense.
