From VerbalCommits, some news on 2014, 2015 and 3 new offers for 2016. I didn't want to start a new thread for this.

That's a really thorough summary chart. Thanks.

It should be noted that the three new offers for 2016 are all players currently playing in New England (I believe two are from MA, one from Delaware).

Nice work on the chart 69MG. Let's hope we are in a great position to get some of these promising recruits!

Kevin Dorsey's team plays tonight vs. White Station, which features some of our missed 2014 targets, as well as one of our uncommited targets, Nych Smith (2015). Both teams are highly regarded. Game is being televised on CBS Sports Network @ 8 or 8:30 pm.

Kind of stinks that we're away this weekend, our staff is missing out on seeing a lot of players right down the street.

^ I assume you're referring to the Hoophall Classic in MA? The game tonight w/ Dorsey is actually part of a completely different event, being held in Missouri. But your point is still completely valid and I agree. I wonder if they leave an assistant back in MA to go to those games, or if someone does a lot of extra flying to to back and forth.

Yes, I assumed it was part of that.

Seeing 2 stars next to Chaz's name just seems extremely weird.

Consider me confused, but Paul Biancardi (ESPN's recruiting guy) tweeted this afternoon:
Arrived in Springfield and just got to spend time with HC @CoachKellogg What a job he is doing for @UMassAthletics
Had a pic of him and DK attached. Does anyone know if DK is heading down later than the rest of the team to put in some time at the HoopHall?

Must be. Not really surprising. Better use of time with tomorrow's game at night. Assistants can handle shoot around and walk through.

Not surprised about DK recruiting. It's not unusual for him or another assistant to be our recruiting while the team is preparing for a game. I'm sure if there's someone they need/want to see at the HoopHall and it doesn't directly conflict with tomorrow's night game they'll have someone there then back on a plane to the game. Recruiting is crazy, it seems almost any moment a coach doesn't have to be with a team they are our recruiting. It's the world they live in.

Swift tweeted that he wants to see all the Umass fans in springfield. Would love to get this kid. His size and athleticism looks like a prototypical DK guy.

It was actually 9:30 eastern time and something prior to it went long, so I only taped the first half. Dorsey looked good at times, struggled some though.

Pic was actually from Bradley Field. The UMass plane got delayed for a long time and Biancardi was flying in for the HoopHall tourney
UMass...the best is yet to come
