Live Streaming 2013-2014
I'm glad we have a bunch of TV games again this year but since I can't stand missing any of the games in the internet age, I was looking for links to (legit) live streaming for games on this year's schedule. I'm fairly confident that UMass All-Access will stream all of the non-broadcast home games like they have the last few years. That would include:
AIC
Youngstown State
Miami (OH)
St. Josephs
George Mason
URI
In doing so, I also found a link to an Atlantic 10 All-Access channel that brands itself as "Atlantic 10 Conference Digital Network". I'm not sure exactly what that means but if you go to subscribe, there is a 4 month package for $39.95 that appears like it would include the home games listed above and some additional games for most (but not all) of the A10 programs. I make no claims to know for sure but that package would appear to include the six home games listed above and five road games against:
George Mason
Richmond
GW
Duquesne
St. Bonaventure
It's possible that Duquesene and St. Bonaventure are not included since they are not specifically listed in the subscription options. But they do use the same All-Access platform so it seems likely they'll be included in the package. If not, there are these links:
Duquesne
Bonnies
I also found tentative links for:
Eastern Michigan
Ohio
Elon
The seven ESPN/2/3/U games might also be streamed through WatchESPN
The only non-TV games that I have not found any streaming for are:
BC
BYU
Florida State
Mike keeps the schedule page on the wiki as updated as possible so either check there for updates or post what you find in this thread and one of us will update the schedule with the latest video link info.

I usually don't have a problem finding our games. The online subscription is pretty good. Last season I had the extended package so that I could watch other teams and keep track of our opponents.
The one that usually bugs me is URI with Cox cable. Last year I forgot to cancel my subscription and paid for it until last month.

I just purchased Google's new TV product, called ChromeCast. It goes for $35 one time fee. It includes the HDMI key and the chord to connect the key you plug into your Tv HDMI and the UBS slot. Total hard ware hook up was one minute. You download software to your computer, 3 minutes and find the proper HDMI channel on your Tv. You can then beam any videos from your computer to your TV wirelessly and with much better streaming. I've used it on YouTube, hulu, netflix, DirecTV, etc. Pretty good tool. I watched the Umass vs Kent 1995 YouTube the other day and it worked great. And no, I'm not affiliated with the product/company.
I don't really get that. Our smartphones don't show up when I look at my network even though they're using the network. All I see on my network is my computer and the USB port on the router, if I have something plugged in there.ktabz16 wrote:that and the fact that any device can provide the streaming source, as long as it's connected to your wireless system. so if my wife is working on the desktop, i can use my smartphone, her laptop, or even my kindle fire to stream on my tv.
