Sorry - I wasn't referring to you at all.
This is the most enjoyable losing season ever!

Harvard beat MIT lastnight 69-54. Not sure what you can take away from that.

MIT is the #1 D3 team in America, so consider them the equivalent of a really bad D1 team. A 15 point win sounds about what one would expect. I'm glad so many top teams got knocked off by smaller opponents last night though, as DK can use these upsets as motivation to make sure our guys are ready to go right away.

I don't care how much of last year's Harvard team is gone. We're still playing a team from our state that did something last season that we haven't been able to do in almost 15 years. I don't think our guys are going to need extra motivation.

Personally I thnk the better D2/D3 teams are better than really bad D1 teams. They usually lack size, but they play them game well.

For the people who like to bet drinks and such ... Any idea what the point spread is for the game is or has it been listed anywhere? I just looked and scoresandodds.com doesn't have it listed yet.
My guess will be UMass -3

I'm with the Goon....6 or 7. And I'd bet on us. I think we come out with energy and simply outclass them, athletically. Unless we shoot very poorly, I think we win convincingly.
See you there!

The early season lines usually seem to rely heavily on the Sagarin ratings. Using the current ratings, they would have UMass as a 7-pt. favorite including the home court advantage. 6 or 7 sounds about right.

I hear a lot of kids are going to be there -- kind of like field trip day for the women's basketball team. Should be rockin' on Tuesday!

Vegas don't do their point spreads until the day of the game.
