If there is any coach in umass athletics, that should be relieved of his duties, it would be Canella. A once proud program is no longer a factor.

too bad the MAC doesn't have a conference for lacrosse ( not enough schools with a program ) to be a sponsored league. But I guess there is hope, now that Umass is in the MAC for other sports, maybe we can have more MAC schools add a lacrosse program and then we could have the number one team in the MAC as the other schools build there program. So we don't need to make any changes to get better, just get a few schools in the MAC to add lacrosse and we dominate ! Problem solved thanks Mr Bamford.

^^^
I know you're being facetious but one of the current conferences already established is just fine for lax.

Many MAC colleges are in financial trouble due to falling enrollments I am dubious that MLAX will be added anytime soon. If anything, I expect MAC schools to start cutting low/no revenue sports.

Another weekend and another loss - this time 12-14 to the Spiders. Hopefully the Gorillas can salvage a winning record by defeating High Point on Friday.

High Point is killing UM after 1, by 0-6 score. HP has lots of open shots from 10 yards or less.

As someone who has followed the lax program since 1967, the state of this program certainly disappoints.

^ The same as the previous game against Richmond - way behind very early. This time we were down 2-8 when I looked in on ESPN+.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."
