Former NFL veteran WR @ChrisHogan_15 has declared for the @PremierLacrosse Entry Draft in March. He will be eligible to be selected by one of the league's eight teams. Hogan was a First-Team All-ECAC selection and captain of his lacrosse team at Penn State.

Penn State was a member of CAA lacrosse. Chris played there for three years then switched to Monmouth for one year of football.

He's eligible, but there are a lot fewer slots in the pros with MLL gone and PLL only taking on the Cannons. We'll see.

PLL has so many elite players and so few positions, 26x8, or 208 players. Plus I assume another 20-30 or so who are on the periphery in case of injury. It is a total crapshoot on who enters any year, especially at small number positions such as goalie and fogo, and many journeymen.

A 'traveling show model' remains a basic challenge toward fan following and acceptance. I think PLL needs to designate each team to a region to develop some level of following. And, given the importance of Lax at the college level, I'd emphasize where each player went to college, which seems somewhat hidden today.

There is box lacrosse/indoor league, NLL, but the maximum salary is $34k. PLL seems to be much higher, on average in 90's, but a wide range. https://www.ziprecruiter.com/Salaries/PLL-Salary

Lax has a long way to go, unlike other niche sports such as hockey.
