UMASS owns faceoffs leads Lowell 7 to 3 at half. Amateurish web feed, mostly without sound until late in 2nd.

UMASS wins 13 - 6, especially dominant in faceoffs (19 of 21) and ground balls (44 to 29).

Dominate in the faceoff circle, 19-2 and win 13-6. Defense and freshman goalie played well. Offense sloppy and not so good, despite the 13 goals. Win 2 in a three-game stretch of extremely winnable games. Hartford up next and then CAA pay begins.

Hartford, then the rivalry game on the road against Brown, then CAA play begins.

To this point no one in the CAA has really jumped out and established themselves. Towson likely the favorite, but it will be interesting to see how the Minutemen fair once conference play begins.
