I agree. My wife and I saw a lot of areas of improvement today. I don't expect a miracle turnaround this year, but I personally feel we're headed in a good direction.

Very impressive performance by the Minutewomen today. The large loud crowd gave the team a standing "O" as time wound down.

Again they showed strength in the 4th quarter. 31 for Palmieri! Nice start to the league season.

Re: 2024-25 Season
A few weeks ago, I was afraid that the women's team was headed into another forgettable season; now I'm actually hoping they can leave the A10 after having a successful season.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
Re: 2024-25 Season
I was hoping our height would be a factor and it looks like it was. Palmieri has played D1 for 4 years now, but he first 3 years she only played in 7,2 and 7 games. Does anyone know is she has any eligibility left?

Re: 2024-25 Season
As best as I can tell, Palmeri came to us last year with two years of eligibility remaining. She had an ankle injury that kept her out at the beginning of last season, and at a certain point she and Coach Leflar decided it would be best for her to sit out. Her desire was to play two full seasons, so I'm guessing she will try for, or has already received, a medical redshirt for last season and play this year and next year for us. I don't know that for certain, but that's my sense of her situation, largely from reading this article:

Re: 2024-25 Season
^ Good to see. If the team can keep its core players and add just 1 or 2 pieces, they could be OK in the MAC next year. As far as I can tell, they only lose Steph to graduation and maybe Sorrentino and Laclair. Those 2 played limited games in one of their years. If it was injury related, they may get a waiver.
Regardless, if everyone else comes back, and I realize that's not today's world, it's a pretty solid team if they add a shooter and a big. They also have Derdack for next year, after redshirting this year.
