Good 3 rd period and now lead 41 - 37.
Re: 2024-25 Season
That 3rd period was awesome. They outscored LaSalle 21-9.

Great win. A little sluggish to start, but we eventually wore them down. Great defensive effort, and solid offensively once they found their game.

Another win and now both the men and women are tied with Dayton for 4th place. Up next is 5-17 (1-10 in the A10) St. Bonaventure at home on Wednesday. It's shaping up to be a fun February.
Re: 2024-25 Season
Turned their game on early third. Announcers were saying it was much like the first half. A few minutes later someone hits an "on" button and they run 21-3. Nice. I did not see any strategy change.

Re: 2024-25 Season
They should beat SBU at home as SBU might be the worst team in the league. That would put them at 8-4. Raise your hand if you thought, in your wildest dreams, that the team could be 8-4 at this point.
I have looked through my Sci-Fi scanner and I do not see any hands. Thanks for being honest.

Re: 2024-25 Season
^ Maybe not 8-4 but you could see they had the building blocks to be pretty good, just needed to get that nucleus they had during the Breen years! Also, 7 of their 10 losses were by 6 points or less.

Re: 2024-25 Season
I'm not sure anyone saw building blocks, especially early on this season. This is trending very nicely!

A nice win on the road. McKayle, who is somewhat turnover prone, had just 1 turnover and 5 assists. Hopefully they can keep the 5 of 7 rotation players, who are eligible to return for next year.

Nope, if you really saw the potential then god bless ya. Like I said, happy it is trending positively.

Re: 2024-25 Season
I'll be honest. We lost 6 of our top 8 scorers from last year. Had no idea how good any of the new players would be. So I was figuring maybe 8 wins this year, perhaps 4 in conference. As it turns out, the replacements are much better than the women they replaced and the 3 main returnees (Steph, Chineneye and Lilly are all contributing. I'm happy for Mike as he's a good guy and was put in a crappy situation.
