Down 1 with :30 left. Need a stop and then a score. This team has been in this position before.

Verdi coached brilliantly in the final 10 seconds of regulation. First he had Taylor throw up a 3 right away knowing that SLU had fouls to give. So she got fouled shooting a 3. On the next possession SLU backed off so Taylor could get a 3 off at the end.

How did he coach to make adjustments when St Louis took Breen out of the game. Adjustments after a sub-500 team beat you a couple of weeks ago….

That's it now we have to see if we can sneak into the big dance. I say it again those announcers were very PRO St. Louis.

SLU is clearly a different team than what they were before they went on this ridiculous run. They didn't get here by accident. They earned the 3 seed and took out both regular season champions. Hopefully the committee realizes that and doesn't ding us for the two losses to them.

26-6 should be good enough to get into the dance, but we know how biased the committee is against teams outside the power conferences.

^^^Come on man (can't call u by your handle it's BS), everything you say on this board is NEGATIVE and usually doesn't make sense. Give the guy his do, or just shut up! Breen has been off the whole weekend (for her standards) so SLU didn't do anything special and has a Stud under the basket!

Going 1-3 against the #2 and # 3 teams in your league is not an At-Large profile. St Louis doesn’t reach .500 until today’s win, so both losses were to a sub.500 team. Asked this the other day, will ask again; has UM beaten any team that will be in the NCAA Tournament? If the answer is no, why should they make it?

Not being a fan of TV is not the determining factor for being a UM supporter. When I watched today’s game, I saw the “Stud under the basket!” guarding Breen; must have been my negative TV (television)! Just because YOU don’t understand something about basketball, doesn’t mean that is doesn’t make sense!
Enjoy your Kool-Aid😁
