At 8-6, SLU is currently in a 3-way tie for 4th in the standings, so they still have double-bye motivation to play for. They've also won 6 of their last 7.

Real bad 3 rd period getting outscored 20 - 6 and trail 56 - 50. RI got beat tonight so we need to turn it on and pull this one out.

Fought hard at the end but wasn't enough.
Tonight's result probably eliminates the possibility for an at-large bid.

SLU played well and deserved that. We scored more in the 1st quarter than the 2nd and 3rd combined. Played hard at the end and couldn’t ask for a better defensive attempt and 3 point attempt by Breen - unfortunately it did not go in.

But as Berkman mentioned that on the bright side, URI also lost tonight so we’re still in 1st.

This was big. She got 6 pts and 1 board tonight. Previous averages were 16.8 and 5.3.

I've followed UMWBB more than I ever have, but still not a ton this season. (Probably shame on me for not shifting more attention to it versus UMMBB.) That said, did anyone else think Mayo forced too many fast driving shots tonight? She went 6-16 (.375). That's not too far off her average though (.409).

Tough Loss, which pretty much means they must with the A10 tournament to get bid. We really need to get the hell out of the A10 as the league is unbecoming for an institution like UMass.

If we beat GW, RI beats Dayton and SLU beats Loyola - all today - it appears that we finish 2nd in conference due to tiebreaker. SLU would be in 3rd and URI beat them this year. Correct?
