Big game at Rose Hill tonight. If UMass wins, we become the #2 seed in conference.

The last few games against Fordham, they shot lights out from 3 and then we clawed our way back to victory. I am hoping that we can come out strong and play a good solid 40 minutes.

K&J, you know what's the situation with Dabo? Haven't seen her dressed for a game in 2 yrs. Injury?

Still a slow start but we lead 22 - 20. Lots of turnovers and Breen has been held scoreless.

I feel that I have heard injuries, though on the social media, I see her practicing. However, she hasn't used any of her eligibility. My thought is that she's working on her craft, especially with Breen, Philoxy, Taylor, etc taking so many minutes and then can be a major contributor for 4 years.

This team loves to snooze through first halfs on O. It's terrific holding Fordham (who scored 80 in their previous game) to 20 in the first half, but 22 for us is not going to get it done very often. Great game for Ber'Nyah, and it's nice that we can win when the other guys' plan is to jam Sam for 40 minutes.

Shout out to the UMass twitter group of NYC area guys that bought a bunch of tickets!

Big win last night from an A10 standing perspective. I agree with OC, they need to wake up earlier in games... but when they are on, they are on!

I hope when all is said and done we appreciate just how good Sam is. She put up a double double last night when Fordham did everything they could to take her out of the game.

How about these stats:

Last year she averaged 17.3 points, 10.1 boards and 1.7 steals.
Through 18 games she is averaging 17.3 points,10.1 boards and 1.7 steals.

OK, it's not all the same. Assists are up from 2.7 to 3.4. :D

She's the best Women's basketball player ever for UMass and she is up there with the all-time greats across all the sports. There is no argument against that.
