IV, if there was a "like" button, you would have a bunch of them. I've mentioned before, she's a great person as well as a great player. Back to back is a real possibility. When she was gracious enough to have a conversation with me (about 3 weeks ago) I asked her about her future and she told me she was planning on coming back. I asked if I could share this info and she said yes.

Bringing this over from twitter:

George William Myers @gwmyers
It’s not about personal records & she’s a legend no matter what, but w/ 5 games & the tourney left Sam Breen is at 1760 points, 98 shy of passing Sue Peters’ 1858 all time.

My response there: George - @32_samb has at least seven more games to break the record, and probably more. Minimum five regular season, one A10, one NCAA or WNIT. Let's hope that she can do it at home, and let's hope that we have double digits in games left to play.

She'll have to score 2.5 above her current average this season (17.5ppg) over the last 5 to do it during the regular season, and the final game is at home vs GW. She has breathing room to accomplish it with the tournament games ahead.

It is within her sights...

78 more to go... she'll need to average 19.5ppg if she's to do it in the regular season at home.

Only 10 last night, so she is now at 1791. She's 68 shy of passing Sue, needing to average 22.4 over her last 3 to do it at home in the season finale.

*Yes, I am aware she can get it during the tournament, but it would be great for her to get it in the regular season.

Add another 23 today. *takes out the calculator* that's 1,836.

23 shy of the record. Michael Jordan number.
