Re: 21-22 Season
Charlie Creme has us as a 12 seed going to College Park, MD. Only 2 hours further than Wilmington.
Re: 21-22 Season
It's fun to look at and it doesn't mean squat, but this one left me speechless. 4 A10 teams are in.

If you don't have ESPN+ and didn't see the game, here's a 15 minute highlight video. Dayton is good but we were the better team on Sunday.

Re: 21-22 Season
Yes, Charlie Creme does the Women's Bracket for ESPN. I am hoping we are in College Park or Ann Arbor (saw that on College Sports Madness).
A lot has / will happen to impact the bracket. Gonzaga (on the bubble) just won the WCC championship over 15 ranked BYU, that could knock Dayton out, push us down a seed, etc.
I plan on going and would prefer not to have to fly (at least until we are in the Final 4 )
Maybe we will win the Bridgeport Regional
Seriously though, they have already surpassed most of our expectations. I would be ECSTATIC if they could get UMass first win in the tournament, especially the first year they are allowed to use March Madness branding.
Re: 21-22 Season
We're now playing Oregon. It changes every day that games are played.
Edit: Oregon is 20-11 and I'm not sure how good they are. I do know that their frontcourt is 6'7, 6'5 and 6'2 and all 5 starters average between 8.8 and 14.7 points. We haven't faced a team anywhere close to that. I'm kind of hoping this changes by Sunday.

Definitely not; but yes to being a distant cousin to Crispy Crème.

Re: 21-22 Season
As long as they don’t play UConn, and that is only because of the past history with Mens Basketball and not scheduling and so forth.
This team deserves to have the news about the game be about them only!

Re: 21-22 Season
For us to have a chance to play UConn, we would have to be a 10 seed or a 15 seed. Honestly, I don't see either of those as possibilities.
Everyone seems to have us as 11 or 12

Re: 21-22 Season
When they start moving teams around to avoid league matchups, an 11 or 12 seed can become a 10 pretty quickly, or UC could move.kikoandjimmer wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 5:19 pm For us to have a chance to play UConn, we would have to be a 10 seed or a 15 seed.
