Been to each game in person this year. Really been impressed by the first three games, even though the competition was not super high. At least they didn't play down to CCSU, Harvard and Iona. I was disappointed by the game at Holy Cross because they came out with no energy and did not play as a team in the first quarter. However, they were able to regroup and come back. I think that is important for a team to be able to persevere on the road and win these close games, regardless of if they should have won by 20.

The team as always seems to key off the energy and leadership of Destiney which is understandable given that she is a captain and a high energy player. The one issue I see is that when she is not making her shots, she gets down which does have an effect on the other players. She sat with Lynne for most of the first half -- I really think that for the whole team to take the next step and have a chance to go far in the A-10 and play even more post-season, Des needs to be positive and encouraging regardless of the score to keep up the energy and tempo that will feed the rest of the team. Next week will be a huge test with Big East team in Providence, #9 Seed in the NCAAW tournament last year in South Dakota State, possibly UCLA or Kent State, etc.

I flipped that on for the last qtr. The last 2 minutes seemed to take forever, timeouts, reviews etc. But yeah, what a strange ending.

Fun team to watch

Not playing well and trail 20 - 12. Lot of foul calls on us vs them

Is TV that unsure of his coaching ability that he doesn’t know how to substitute? Two players played 39 minutes apiece. The player he described as potentially the best center in UM history played 1 minute.
Please no crying about not having depth later in the year when he does nothing to develop depth.

I do worry about that... there is a bit of a pattern.
