This is a gutsy group and they deserve a lot of credit for what they've accomplished. They play SLU tomorrow at 4:00 after they beat Richmond in overtime. Brooke Flowers (6'5) is a tough matchup for us. She scored all 7 of SLU's points in OT.

The good news is that SLU only plays 7 people. We'll see who's less tired tomorrow.

How bad is this? As Rodney Dangerfield used to say, "We don't get no respect".

This is the first time I've seen the ladies play this season but impressed so far. This team plays good fundamental basketball.

Just watched the game I recorded earlier. What a great win for the team.

What I really like about Verdi is that he has a short rotation. 4 starts average between 33-37 minutes a game thus year. It develops cohesiveness.
While it may not be great for the ones not playing, (and may have led to some of the departures from the team) his job is to win games.
You really only need to go 7 deep.

Cannot say enough about the will to win that this team has. We all better appreciate Sam Breen who is a true warrior. She has played every minute of all 3 games. Philoxy, Mayo and Taylor aren't far behind. I don't want to leave out White, who has done an admirable job filling in or Sims or Angelique who has given us a much needed boost after a pretty minor role the rest of the year.

Unreal, one more win and the women are in the dance. I know we split with VCU during the year but haven't checked the details. Too bad it's on their home floor.

The game tomorrow is at noon on ESPNU. Where do we go to watch it?
