^ She'll need a few practices to mesh with her teammates and maybe more importantly to understand the difference between Delaware HS BB and D1 basketball. She's very good from everything I've read, but very few high school players could jump in right away under these circumstances.

It looks like she's a slasher type. She only took 23 three pointers in 22 games, but hit them at 35%.Nathan Strauss

UMass WBB picks up Shavonne Smith, a current junior at Towson, for the coming year. Should have 2 years of eligibility. The 5'11 guard averaged 12 points and 5 boards for the Tigers this last year.

Good guard size at 5-11 and uses it well in rebounding.
