The school cannot announce transfers until they are enrolled.

I'll admit, I don't understand TV's recruiting philosophy, but so far he knows what he's doing so I'm OK with it!

Laila Fair is a huge pickup. The women will be deep up front.

Does this announcement mean that the New Hampshire player at UConn will not be coming since she’s not in the announcement?

^ It doesn't look like she has landed anywhere yet but with the 3 new players we have (2 transfers, 1 freshman) I'm not sure Tori wants any more players.

The more I read about her it seems she is a "project". He already has one in the 6'4" Harden so the only way see her coming is if Harden decides to leave. One project player is usually all that Tori will take on. As you know, he rarely plays more than 8 people.

Looks like we should be loaded this year. Can't wait for them to come down to Davidson.

It will be interesting to watch her development under Tory for the next three years. Good Luck and Welcome Piath!

After years of not enough players dressed for a game, I now count 15: 11 on the current roster, plus three transfers mentioned in the thread, plus one frosh.

Is that correct? If so, expect the portal revolving door to get a workout. It's not a scholarship question, as 15 are allowed for the ladies, but a playing time question.

If Verdi can’t figure out how to build a 10/11 player rotation, then this team will never have enough players to dress

^ You are making my point. I have no doubt he can do that, but that leaves four more that have higher aspirations than being 12-13-14-15.

He's not going to play more than 10 or 11, and that's pushing the envelope for Tori. If I read the roster correctly, we lose Sam and Destiny after this year. Tori's task for this year, besides winning, is figuring out what he has for 2023. I think that's why he has so many bodies this year.

The roster as of today has 11 players but Michelle Pruit is a grad transfer and I believe is gone but I agree 11 players is probably enough for Verdi!
