Credit to the coach and kids who are excelling in a tough tough situation.

Credit to Berkman and offspring for being there. Did you rush the court?

Kind of tough to rush the court from where we were seated. First row center section that has a railing with a drop of about 4 feet. Plus we were behind the official scorers table and announcing section. There was security in the area also. Really should have won easily by a bigger margin. We were up by 13 in the second quarter and when 00 got into foul trouble it put us in a serious height disadvantage. She is the only one we have over 6 ' at 6 ' 2". Davidson has five players over 6 " with one starter at 6 ' 3 " and the other at 6 ' 2 ".

I go to most UMass games at Davidson as it is on 15 - 20 min away from my house in Mooresville. Last year I went to the Men's BB & baseball games and the women's BB game. Know a lot of the coaches from going to the sport luncheons for a heck of a lot of years. Parking is tough sometimes as the parking lot near the BB facility is reserved for season ticket holders and they have parking passes to show to security to get into it. Last year I must have walked a mile to the guys game.

In case anyone isn't paying close enough attention, the Minutewomen are now 8-10 and 2-3 in conference. They had 12 wins total each of the last 2 years, and 4 wins the year before that.

8-10 with 11 games to go. This new coach is really making a difference.

The only seniors are Stiff and Burke, so if this recruiting class is any good (at least they'll have more bodies) Coach Verdi will have a pretty good group to work with next year.

I talked to one of the UMass people at the Davidson game and he confirmed the four verbals and possibly two more when the signing period comes around. I had a few words with the coach before the game and he is very positive.

What this team and Tori Verdi and staff are doing is nothing short of incredible. I am excited for the future of women's hoops at the U.

Sat down in Buffalo Wild WIngs and looked up and saw the game on TV at mid-first quarter, It was a pleasure to watch them execute well, maintain composure and maintain the early lead throughout. Even more impressive with the minimal bench available to them. Definitely a fun game to watch.

I went back 10 years and the gals have not started 3-3 in conference play in that time frame until this year. It may be longer, but that's as far back as I looked. Great job with a limited roster.

This is how you celebrate a win!

It's incredible what this team is doing with the limited roster that they have. Coach Verdi is doing a tremendous job. Hope he doesn't get poached too soon by a bigger program.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)
