WOW! I saw a rarity, a win by the gals 66 to 62. The gals now play four 10 min quarters. That is an advantage on the fouls. Four instance if the team has 5 fouls in the first quarter the foul count gets reset to start the second quarter and you have to get up to 6 before you get to shoot fouls.

Number 13, Bria Stallworth , the guard has to be as fast going up the court with the ball as Jabarie. The bis scorer, no 15, Dillard was high scorer as usual, but she cannot dribble the ball without carrying it. Guess they allow that in the women' s game. They started out slow but really picked up the pace in the second quarter and built up a double digit lead at half time. But they played real sloppy to start the third quarter and blew the whole lead. It was nip and tuck most of the rest of the way. Stallworth did not score a point until the closing minute of the game when she had to throw up a three as the time was running down and made a three to give them a two point lead. Some clutch foul shooting in the last 30 seconds of the game to secure the win.

3 straight as they beat Davidson on the road. Glad that they are winning, but it will really suck if Dawley saves her job.

I think the decision on her job has already been made so no matter what they do the rest of the way she will be done.

Ladies won their 4th straight, at Rhody tonight. Nice little turnaround they've put together, after they could have easily mailed it in the rest of the way.

Excellent finish for the women. Something tells me Dawley will be back to finish out her contract.

This little run they're on unfortunately will probably be enough to save her job. If it were a higher-profile program it would be different, but with the hockey coach on his way out, Bamford would probably prefer to only have to fill one vacancy this year. And hockey is a more important hire than WBB, by a wide margin.

If this run was being accomplished in said hockey program, it wouldn't be enough to save Mick's job. But for Dawley it's probably going to give her a stay of execution. That's too bad, because the program has not done well at all with her at the helm, but it's not a program that's at the forefront, so she'll get to at least finish out her deal.

The ladies win again, 80-57 over LaSalle, closing the season on a 5 game winning streak. Dawley has them playing good ball at the right time of the year.

I'm thinking Dawley has saved her job, but if she wants a new contract, the WNIT is the bare minimum in 2016-17.

She has another strong recruiting class coming in next fall so maybe this team is starting to turn the corner.

What do you mean? Her teams have won 45 games in almost 6 full years, including 11 this season. :D
Overall, the program has been woeful. Since 81-82' they have had only 8 .500 or above seasons. That is just brutal.

Leaving out the word "another", it does look like a pretty strong class, "for Dawley". I find it hard to believe that the high school record for points in a game is 38 as quoted in the bio.
