Season over.

New totals from the Dawley era:

Code: Select all

	      Overall A-10
2010-11	7	23	3	11
2011-12	8	21	3	11
2012-13	3	26	1	13
2013-14	4	27	1	15
2014-15	12 18	5	11
2015-16	12 18	5	11
Totals 46 133	18 72
	     	 .346 .250
No change from a year ago, but the last 2 are at least better than the rest. On the negative side, they had nowhere to go but up.

Maybe we can build something off Stallworth's promising rookie season?

Refresh my memory: what's Dawley's contract situation? How much longer is left on her deal?

Unless it expires this season, I don't see Bamford making a change.

Dawley has agreed in principal to a seven year deal that would have her coaching the Minutewomen thru the 2016-2017 season should she remain through the length of the contract.
Here's the link to the article.

I think they'll ride this out for 1 more year.

Dawley's contract runs for one more year and expires at the end of next season.

UMass’ Cierra Dillard led the Minutewomen to a 2-0 record last week with wins over Rhode Island and La Salle. She averaged 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals … Massachusetts freshman Bria Stallworth averaged 11.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds for the week and scored 12 points against Rhode Island and helped spark a rally from a 19-point deficit for the win
Cierra Dillard led Buffalo with 29 points in a loss to South Carolina in an NCAA Regional game in Albany. Tough to build a program when you lose players like this.

^ And she makes ESPN's Top 10 this morning.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."
