When my family and I were recently in Amherst, we drove down Route 9 from Northampton and my wife, who rowed for Simmons in the 90s, made a comment about how nice the boathouse was. She was impressed.

Not to turn this into a rowing thread, but yes, the new boathouse is excellent.

Maybe Mike needs to make a Crew forum and move the Women's bball to the other sports forum as a form of protest until they get their $#!+ togeher.
Raise the bar, do the minimum.

This is either late 2013-14 news, or early 2014-15 news.

Minutewomen have apparently lost guard Jasmine Harris, who was the second-leading scorer this past season, her sophomore year. She's transferring to CMU

Harris is originally from Michigan.

Apparently this is a recent development, as the June edition of the Minutewomen's newsletter featured Harris.

...and guard Nola Henry has transferred to College of Charleston.

Henry was 6th on the team in scoring average last season, at 6.4 ppg.

Wow. Feel badly for anyone left on the team. How many years left on that great 7-year deal negotiated by McCutcheon?

Really surprised about the Harris transfer but while she was the 2nd leading scorer on the team, she was very erratic -- i remember her air balling three 3-point shots in a span of 4 or 5 minutes last year.

Also, strangely came upon Nola Henry's twitter page a few months ago. She has a baby and probably wants to be closer to her kid -- figured she was gone late last year as Dawley started Timbilla at point guard.

Team has talented parts left but Sharon can't put it together. Is this year 5 or 6 of her contract?
