Well deserved. She had two great games this past week. I think some things are opening up for Megan as teams focus on Allie Palmeri. Allie was just suffocated on Saturday by St. Joe's defense. Megan was really strong in the paint on Saturday and led scoring in both Wednesday's and Saturday's games.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 3:49 pm Megan Olbrys is the A10 Player of the Week.

Re: 2024-25 Season
Frustrating loss to RI yesterday by two points, 58-60.
I couldn't watch or listen to the game, but Allie Palmeri played 35 minutes and was held to 3 points. Not sure what's up with that. Have other teams just figured out how to shut her down?
Yahmani McKayle had 16, while Olbrys and Kulesza had 12 and 13 respectively. Looks like it was tied at the end of the third. It would have been really nice to have pulled this one out.

Did not post scores as I went to the emergency room at the hospital with stomach pains and after 4 1/2 hours and a CT scan they determined that I has a gas issue and gave me some medication and sent me home. My wife kept checking the game on her phone for me.

Love ya Berky and glad you're ok! But I'm not sure we needed to know the specifics

Expect a dogfight this afternoon. The average score for VCU this year is 58-56. Their 5'9 guard, Asare, averages 15.6 and nobody else is above 8. Their 6-1 center, Parham averages just 4.6 points but pulls down 10.4 boards and blocks over a shot per games.
It's a winnable game if we can find a way to score.

Whew. Wasn't always pretty, but they definitely fought hard and deserved the good road win!
Re: 2024-25 Season
The Minutewomen Rotweillers won the dog fight. Road wins are always tough and this was a gritty performance. Props to Stef for showing some senior leadership and Olbrys is becoming a star. Keep it up!
