Loose 66 - 58. Fell behind too much in the first half.

Don't understand that strategy at the end. No sense of urgency, down 2 scores and they let clock run

Good comeback tho, just dug a big hole

What happened to Angelique the 2nd half, she get hurt? Could have used her on the boards

This team deserves a large crowd for their next home game.

I'm sure the women are a bit tired. This team doesn't get outrebounded 43-28. Get some rest - a very tough game on Wednesday, but at least it's at home.

^ I'm sure that the extended road trip, which included an 11PM flight from Richmond to Providence took a toll. They are certainly not used to three game trips.

But that doesn't explain the last minute.

Would someone please explain why, when you are 4 points behind, with a minute left to play, you let URI run out the clock without fouling?

We're up to 7 votes this week, even after last night's loss. No votes for URI. I wonder if all of the coaches who voted even knew yesterday's scores when they submitted their ballots.

Final is Dayton 69 and us 60. They have a gal that is 6 ' 5 ' and is pretty darn good. Only got 2 points from Taylor tonight.

Kind of a bummer, but I think we got bit a little by the quirky schedule. I put the other 13 teams into 3 tiers, based on overall record:
Tier 1
URI
Dayton
Fordham
Davidson

Tier 2
Richmond
LaSalle
VCU
SBU

Tier 3
GW
GMU
SLU
Duq
SJU

Our next game is at GW followed by a home game against URI. We then have 5 in a row against tier 2 & 3 teams. We have a shot at a 7 game win streak if we win the games we should win and find a way to beat URI in Amherst. We only have 3 games left against tier1 teams and 2 are at home.
I'm probably being a bit too optimistic but barring injury we have a chance to go 10-2 the rest of the way for a 24 win season.

In case anyone cares (I do) the women are favored by 10.5 on the road today at GW where we are 0-23 all time. GW scores a whopping 52 points a game but they only give up 56. Their 2 leading scorers average 8.9 and 8.3. This is a MUST WIN to get the women back on track.
