You could not ask for a more fair World Cup final.

Holy shit, that second goal by France.
Re: 2022 World Cup
That was fun. France made Argentina earn it. Maybe the greatest sporting event ever considering the entire world is watching.

Re: 2022 World Cup
I was most impressed with the 2nd Argentina goal, there were about 5 spectacular touches that went into that one.
I admit I was tuned out for most of the 2nd half because I thought Argentina had it in the bag. But after the penalty that got France its first goal, I was totally into it.
Some classic matches this World Cup, it succeeded in spite of Qatar.
Looking forward to the Women's WC this summer and part 2 of the EPL season and Champions League.

I'm very happy for technology today...I had a cross country flight during the final, but was able to watch live on my laptop for free. That was an epic game and one of the greatest sporting events I've seen. The subs that came in for France helped spark that second half run, and Mbappe is going to keep them up top for a while now.
Once it was going to PKs, I knew Argentina had it in the bag.

Jeez, that game really had it all.
What a World Cup, what a finish.

Near Death Experiences are pretty interesting. There have been some where blind people described what they saw after their soul left their body in accurate detail. One I read was of a woman who described herself being outside her body and was floating upward; she mentioned seeing a shoe sitting at the top of the hospital roof and when they looked, they found it there. Fascinating stuff.Plano Minuteman wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 9:53 am I was most impressed with the 2nd Argentina goal, there were about 5 spectacular touches that went into that one.

Also T Minus 3 years until the next world cup in North America. That will be epic! Women's World Cup is always a good watch, should be fun. New Zealand/Australia is about 13-15 hours time difference right (compared to Eastern Daylight Time)?
