An excellent ten minutes:

Any sports fan who was around in the 80's & 90's knew who Bob was. The area was lucky to have him here.

I helped a girlfriend of mine move into the city once. As I was leaving, I got lost trying to get back to the Pike. I see this guy jogging and I'm yelling at him to stop for some directions. He stops and as I pulled over, In surprise I said "hey Neumy". He responded with " yeah, yeah, what are you looking for, you're fucking up my run". I asked him, he gave me directions and as I pulled away I yelled "Neumy" out the window. He started laughing and shaking his head, before he started his run back up. He was pretty cool to even stop, but his original line to me was pretty funny

I remember him on channel 3 in Hartford before he went to WBZ.

Sorry to hear of his passing.
