I listened to Jim talk about his career at a UMass Club event in Boston several years ago. He is most known for leading the TWA 800 crash investigation, but he was very involved on a lot of fronts. “He’s the ultimate G-man, an Eliot Ness kind of guy. He lives, breathes and bleeds the F.B.I.”

He was a member of my old fraternity (7-10 years or so before my time) I did never meet him though.
