Alice Bishko Passed Away

Post by InnervisionsUMASS » Thu Apr 22, 2021 11:42 am

Sad news for UMass as Alice Bishko passed away earlier this month. She was a staple at UMass Athletic events with her iconic cheers ("GO MASS GO!"). It's been awhile since she took tickets and roamed the aisles of the Mullins and McGuirk, but she remains and icon of UMass fandom.

I hope that she was buried with the megaphone! :)

I grew up listening to her at games! She was one of a kind! I would say RIP, but she enjoyed the noise!

I couldn't help noticing that Alice died just a few days before UMass won the hockey title. I think she would have enjoyed that immensely.

Back in the day, I called a number of games that her son Tim played for the Hopkins Golden Hawks.
