We are seeing a scattering of D3 schools in NESCAC as well - the dominoes are starting to tumble.

I think that it is going to be hard to have football in the the fall. But so many schools are so dependent on that cash. Now Stanford, a power 5 school, with lots of tv money is cancelling sports. Canary in the coal mine.

IMO, what we will find is that those most prestigious colleges, with either multi-billion-dollar endowments or excellent academic reputations, will cancel first. Next will be schools that cannot afford athletics if enrollments/dorm residency are down.

My guess is that most colleges who try will have a 'checkered/last-minute' schedule. I think that UMass' schedule is especially vulnerable, especially those games where the opponent is in a conference, like 'big payday' Auburn.

Last will be the Power 5, Stanford obviously an exception. But if 3 or 4 of the Power 5 - who think delusionally they compare to Harvard or Stanford fold their cards, all bets are off.
