This a very impressive document:

The progress is beyond anything that I could have imagined.

Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
Pretty amazing.
Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
The progress there has been steady, and I think now it is the hardest school to gain entrance at UMASS, as is true at most public Universities.

Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
Fantastic to see Isenberg continuing to climb the business school rankings. Proud to be an alum!
Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
Doubt you'll see a Globe article about this good news. Haha
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)
Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
This is a good place to put a nice story:
https://www.umass.edu/gateway/feature/olympic-bound
And, a plug for our Sport Management program from the story: "The Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management is one of the first programs of its kind. Other universities ranked the program number one in the world in a recent “Sports Business International” survey. Department Chair Janet Fink says, “Most programs have two or three dedicated faculty members, maybe four. To have 11 full-time people in our program who are dedicated to teaching, who are winning teaching awards, and who are also researchers with open-door policies, that can really connect with students.”

Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
Too many colleges have sports management programs that are little more than helping jocks to learn selling club seat tickets.
UMASS' program is elite, and has the graduates' success to show.

Re: Isenberg School Dean's Report
It's probably good that ours is a sport management program.

Fresh off the presses, the 2016 Bloomberg Undergrad Business School rankings: http://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016- ... s-schools/
Isenberg up three spots to #33 in the Private & Public school rankings. Dean Fuller has been tremendous. Hoping he sticks around for a few more years at least.

Simply put, they want to expand. The U said "get in line", and SOM decided to fund raise and is already killing it. No negative spin from the Globe this time.
I have the article copied, but won't post it here due to Mike's regulations. I'll gladly email it to you if you want to see the whole thing.
