Nice ISOM story...

We were at the Suzy Borgguss gig last night at the Bull Run in Shirley...
different audience for us because it was a C&W gig.

Nice couple from Uxbridge sitting next to us, about 7 years our younger.

I mentioned Mr. & Mrs. SM meeting at UM and the husband picked up on it, very proud to let us know that their son graduated from ISOM in 2006, got a great education, and then was one of 35 applicants for a desirable position with Price Waterhouse in Boston.

The short of it was that their son was chosen for the job over everyone else.

other tidbit...guitar player in the three person band is from the Orkney Islands, same for former Chancellor Scott...
Figuring a very limited population there, I chatted briefly with the younger man, who also is an able bodies seaman, re: Chancellor Scott.
He did say he knows (surname) Scott(s) on the isle.
The angle of incidence = the angle of reflection: REBOUND!

#1 U.S. online MBA for the fourth straight year: https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/news/ise ... wBwjH5-14U

“It is thrilling to see the repeated recognition the degree has received from the Financial Times,” observes Isenberg’s dean, Anne Massey. “It confirms again that our investments in faculty, curriculum, and technology support a program that’s known to be a game-changer for mid-career professionals.”

I have Huge Collection that will be unveiled At UMass, Amherst later this YR.

This is a sad day for me. Mark Fuller was a great Dean and a better person. I wish him nothing but the best at UMD.

He has certainly earned the opportunity doing great things at the Amherst campus.

69 - Don't be sad. Mark had already stepped down as Isenberg dean, and this is a temp assignment. Maybe he will be back in some role.

I guess I wasn't clear. I know he had stepped down as Dean, but I often saw him on campus when I made the trip there. Also, after his medical issue he no longer would sit courtside at BB games and ended up sitting near me. It gave me a chance to chat with him from time to time. I also wonder about the "Interim" tag and what it holds for the future.
