Not exactly a confidence inspiring lead-up for USMNT. Not feeling the chemistry with this squad. Maybe when the matches mean something, it'll be different.

Also, this has to be the least talked about World Cup ever. Not sure if it's because it's the first one in the winter, or it's in Qatar, but I can't remember the last time the hype for a World Cup has been so quiet.

As you guys said earlier, thanks FIFA for ruining the worlds biggest party for having this thing in Qatar in the fall.

The roster is set. No Zach Steffan is the biggest puzzle, that's odd to me.

Should've just put Man City's Haaland on our roster just to see if we could get away with it. Best Center Forward in the world right now, and we really really need one. He's not playing anywhere else since Norway didn't qualify, although he could probably blend in easily with the Danish team, until they saw him on the field scoring all the time.

2 days before the World Cup starts, Qatar changes their mind and announces NO ALCOHOL AT THE WORLD CUP.

What a disaster. At least in only 4 short years, the next World Cup will be an awesome time split between US, Canada, and Mexico.

^^^ Very excited about the 2026 WC in North America. I went to a game back in 1994 with my dad and brothers, helped me become the soccer fan I am today.

What are they gonna do with all the drunk tanks they built in the stadiums for this?

Totally excited for the 2026 World Cup, and the final is going to be in the backyard of where I grew up: MetLife Stadium aka Giants Stadium.

USA vs Wales today!

England cruised by Iran today. With them expected to win the group, that's good for a potential tie breaker against Iran. They'll most likely end the group stages with a negative goal differential.

We need to focus on beating Wales today though - a draw most likely won't cut it. A loss would make it very hard to get out of the group.

Very good start to the game against Wales. Controlling the ball most of the time as well as the pace. Weah getting the scoring off on a fantastic assist from Pulisic there.

Wow Saudi Arabia beats Argentina! Easily one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history.

France is good.

Also I'm jealous of how nice their kit is.

So far Canada is doing well in their first cup in 36 years. I hope they can pull it out and get out of the group stages, but they are in a fairly tough group of their own, with both Belgium and the last runner up, Croatia.

Canada definitely had a decent showing, missing the PK and a few other good opps was just too much.

I got to see US-Wales in a small bar in Mexico City. Surprisingly, the crowd was mostly pro US.

Somehow, we have to draw vs. England.

Every Mideast and North Africa team has taken advantage of being in their part of the world so far except for Iran, but they probably will vs. us.
